School of Slow Media is proud to announce a new partnership with the United Nations mandated University for Peace’s Centre for Executive Education, based in Costa Rica.
In this global partnership, SoSM participants who complete their 10-day Track X program and earn their Certificate in Social Innovation are now eligible for a further Diploma in Social Innovation from the Centre for Executive Education (CEE), with the successful completion of two online courses offered as part of CEE’s Diploma in Social Innovation.
In our conversations with University for Peace, it became abundantly clear that we share a vision of what education could be—something that’s more than what our mind conjures up from the word “school.” It gave us a courage to own this vision and rebrand ourselves as School of Slow Media.
With this partnership, we are very happy to join the movement of educators everywhere that are taking education to the next level. To a space where we tinker, play, and learn from a bunch of modes of learning: blended, experiential, lateral, accelerated, slow, virtual (and more!). Through it we are committed to figuring out the next steps in the boiler room with the learners.
